Illustrator Format You can send us your Illustrator files if you prefer not to bother with exporting them as TIFFs . Just save your Illustrator file either in Illustrator format (.ai) or EPS format. You must : 1 . Include all images placed in your Illustrator file. 2 . Place all these files in a folder and compress it using either winzip (on PCs) or stuff it (on MACs). 3 . Make sure your file has a bleed. For details see bleeds. 4 . Make sure all color images are in CMYK MODE not RGB MODE. 5 . Include all screen fonts and printer fonts: PC people only! 6 . Make sure all placed images are 300 dpi. 7 . Convert all text to "outlines", "paths" or "curves", ESPECIALLY for Mac people!!!
